The World Traveler publishes trip-planning guides in English: destination itineraries, trekking in Nepal, food by country, Europe by train, road trips, Morocco and practical planning advice. Each guide starts with a direct answer to the question it covers and ends with the questions travellers ask most. You can browse them in the blog or by category.
How we make our guides
Guides are researched and written with the help of AI tools and revised over time. Every article shows the date it was published and, when it has changed since, the date it was last updated. We rewrite older guides when routes, prices or rules change, and we add the questions readers ask.
Prices, opening hours, permits and timetables are approximate and change often. Before you book, check the official source: the transport operator, the national park or tourism board, and your government's travel advice for the country.

Some articles include a link to book tours or activities through partners such as GetYourGuide. When a link is an affiliate link, the same sentence says so. If you book through it we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

If something in a guide is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page or on Instagram and we will fix it.
